ENHANCEMENT OF CATALYST WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM REL 9.0 - ALERTS NOTIFICATION FOR CATALYST STANDARD PRODUCT.
Customers might require some kind of
notification on various kinds of events that can happen in the warehouse.
For example, a customer sales representative might want to know if a particular
order of a particular customer is going to be shipped short before hand.
Based on the notification the sales representative might want to create another
order for the shorted material and notify their customer about the status
of the order. This product defines and enable various kinds of alerts across
the system which can be subscribed by the end user selectively and conditionally
and help them to take the correct decisions in time to achieve the business
goals.
The Product provides the basic architecture and the required framework for generating and subscribing to the various kinds of alerts. The generation of these alerts might be based on some kind of event in the WMS. The work involved developing user interfaces using PHP, HTML and JavaScript for Web-enabled release of the Catalyst WMS. Business rules for simple queries are processed in Apache using PHP scripts to access the database. The complex business processes are implemented as business services written in Unix/C for maximum performance. The web pages use spreadsheet style grids, pick/point calendars, text fields, etc. for users to view and modify data. Role : Designer & Programmer. Duration : 3 Months. Client : Catalyst, Milwakee. |
