ENHANCEMENT OF CATALYST WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM REL 9.1 FOR XML HOSTCOMMUNICATION The older versions
of Catalyst Warehouse Management System interact with host ERP systems through
flat file data interchange. Catalyst WMS needs to interact with SAP IDOCS
module. As per SAP EDI/IDOCS requirements Catalyst WMS Release 9.1 is added
with a feature of XML host communication. As part of this feature the entire
existing flat file based host communication had to be changed to XML documents
based host communication.
I was responsible for analysing the requirements, design, coding and testing of host communication module for Retail product merge with standard product. The host communication cards mapped include eight different documents such as order download, order upload, receive scan upload, ship scan upload, RF Audit upload, Summary inventory upload, event type upload and event type download. Retail specific article has to be merged with standard product related alternate item functionality. Design for mapping retail specific host communication cards that are exchanged between SAP and WMS to XML documents. Role: Design & Programmer. |
